Leisure Friday

New Starbitez Pizza advert!

Went for Starbitez Pizza @ Pizza Hut last Friday for lunch with KK.
Took Super Supreme flavour for the pizza. Yummm...
The pizza has "fingers" which are actually mini hot-dogs.
It was sliced into "heart shape"... and I find that rather amusing... haha
Or maybe I'm just easily amused =p

Heart-shape pizza

Went for Tepanyaki dinner @ Yaki Teppan in Sg. Nibong with collegues and meeting up with Lay Ching.
It was a pleasant dinner and I had my tummy filled up to the max as the portion was huge.
Had combination of chicken, fish and prawn tepanyaki.
It was a set dinner and it comes with garlic rice, salad, miso soup, fried wanton, jelly (for dessert) and juice.

After dinner some of us went for movie.
Supposed to be watching "Wanted" by Angelina Jolie but.......

The ticket bought online was for Thursday's movie!

Hahaha...

(Tan was feeling very TL... definately not his day... ~.~
maybe he woke up from the wrong side of the bed... hehe)

But I guess when we began to look back on this incident in the future, we'll have a good laugh at it =D
No worries.

So finally we did not manage to watch "Wanted" but we went for "The Happening" instead.
It started out grusome. And the grusome-ness continues.... *lol*
"The Happening" tells of a certain pollen or chemical which is released from plants.
These pollen firstly cripples the human/animal brain which causes the malfunction of action and speech.
It then triggers the brain to pursue suicide!

Can you imagine everyone around you suddenly dies by commiting suicide?
Can you imagine the odour of dead bodies lying around everywhere?
This really makes me sick to the stomach.

But this story makes me think...
This is how humans have been treating nature and the environment all these while.
We should all put some effort to save our nature and environment.
What if one day nature comes back for its' revenge? *evil*

Durian Rice

Durian Rice recipe =p

Had Durian Rice for dinner last nite
(did not have actual photos of it cos I finished my meal before I remember to snap the photo... it was too delicious =p)
It taste sooooooo darn good! *thumbs-up*
So easy to prepare and taste so great!
All you need is the skill to open durians and, of course, the durian season!!! *lol*

How to prepare:
1. Prepare some salt water and cook some white rice.
2. Chill up some durians in your fridge. (well, I like it chilled!)
3. Next, ready to be served!

How to serve and eat:
1. Serve rice (with salt water) and the chilled durians.
2. Next, make sure your hands are super clean!
3. Finally, you are ready to dig into your Durian Rice with your HANDS (yup.. that's the way to eat it *winks*)

Well, at least that is how I eat it.
I've heard of different ways of eating Durian Rice.
Some had coconut milk mixed in, others have milk mixed in.
Some uses glutinous rice (sticky rice) instead of plain white rice.
There are sooooo many ways to eat it, just try it out!

Durian lovers paradise~

(NOTE: gotta watch out the burps and farts! It may be nasty... hahahaha)

Mature VS Realistic

I have always been mixed-up how people describe a person as mature or realistic.
Curious about the different meanings of Mature and Realistic, I looked up Merriam-Webster Dictionary online and found these:

Mature
based on slow careful consideration <mature judgment>

Realistic (Realism)
concern for fact or reality and rejection of the impractical and visionary

In my own words I guess realistic means you're able to differentiate between reality/fact and fantasy/dream.
Words that I think would associate with it is solid, tangible, high-possibility, safe.
(this is disasterous for children book-writers =p)

Mature is based on your consideration or judgements.
Whether how well one is able to think critically before deciding.
(does this mean fast decision-making means immature? =p as long as it careful enough?)

One can be realistic and yet immature.
But can one be mature and yet un-realistic?
Realistic is part of the sub-set for mature-thinking?
hmm... (am I learning anything here? haha... maybe I need to get an English tutor =p)
Interesting, isn't it?
Think about it.

Just another wild pondering of my brain.

Look at the stuff I have for you to ponder:

The older we get, the more mature and realistic we'll become.
TRUE or FALSE?

How do you describe an older person?
a. Mature? or just simply Realistic?
b. Their constant contact with reality makes them more
mature? or more realistic?

Paradise Cafe

Happy Belated Father's Day to all fathers out there!
(...and to my dad of course; whom I have greeted first-hand yesterday =p)

Was too lazy to blog these few days...
Just wanna chill and have some space for myself to........... SLEEP of course! =p
It was a sleep of all major sleepsss.... haha (crappin')
What a tiring weekend... went out on FRI after work for dinner and straight to sing k until 4am.
I don't think I can keep on doing this, man. Gosh... it was tiring =.=

Well, anyway, we had dinner at Paradise Cafe which is opposite Queensbay Mall.
The environment was nice and they have live music after 9pm.
It is a great place to hangout, chill and have a drink with your pals.
However, I do admit that I'm rather disappointed with the food there.
Maybe the main reason was because it was a cafe where you were more expected to go there for a drink instead? haha... I don't know; but can you imagine eating sweet and sour chicken rice with 3 slices of chicken? =.=

Think of me

Think of me, think of me fondly
when we’ve said goodbye
Remember me once in a while
please promise me you’ll try
When you find that, once again, you long
to take your heart back and be free
if you ever find a moment
spare a thought for me

We never said our love was evergreen
or as unchanging as the sea
but if you can still remember
stop and think of me

Think of all the things
we’ve shared and seen
don’t think about the things
which might have been

Think of me, think of me waking,
silent and resigned.
Imagine me, trying too hard
to put you from my mind.
Recall those days
look back on all those times,
think of the things we’ll never do
there will never be a day,
when I won’t think of you

Weekend Trip

Went to KL last Friday by bus. Got the bus ticket last minute so KL bus were sold out for Friday.
Had to get the B'worth-Klang bus which cost me RM35!
After the petrol price increase, B'worth-KL bus raised from RM24 to RM30 (increase RM6)
If I had bought the ticket earlier, I could have still been paying RM24 for the ticket =.=

I had a great time during the weekend.
Went to Genting on Saturday; a surprise plan from bear. =)
The place was crowded with people as it was a public holiday (Agong's Birthday)
Wanted to go for the Outdoor Park but it was raining that day and outside is all cold and misty.

Everyone crowd for the indoor rides and activities.
Can't imagine the queue you have to go through to get a ride.
Instead of going for rides, we opt for some arcade games in the end.
Seems like a lot of people is crazy 'bout the basketball hoop game.

Ferris Wheel ride at First World indoor park

Turned into a 5-year-old kid!!

Spent most of the time just strolling through Genting.
The cooling weather was great even though I wished it wasn't raining.
Came down from Genting about 6pm and went back to Wangsa Maju for dinner.
Despite the exhaution of walking whole day in Genting, we went to KLCC... lol.
My leg was killing me then but we manage to get a great photoshot of KLCC Petronas Twin tower.

On Sunday, we went to Timesquare & Sg. Wang for movie & window shopping (a lot of energy, rite? *lol*)
Sg. Wang was crowded as usual.
There was Ultraman Showcase going on in Sg. Wang... haha.
Reminds me of my childhood days....

Ultraman appearence in Sg. Wang

Went for Kungfu Panda in GSC Timesquare.
The movie is really funny and I enjoyed it a lot.
Voices by actors like Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Jacky Chan & Angelina Jolie. The Panda's (named Po) voice is by none other than Jack Black, the funny fat guy from "School of Rock" and band "Tenacious D".

My rating for this movie: 4.5 stars!

Lastly and the most important part of my wonderful weekend is my baby =D
I wouldn't had the wonderful weekend without him. *muakz*
Thank you for the cute bears ^.^
Escpecially for all the sweet memories~

Cute ar?

Just came back from KL yesterday.
Exhausted but contented =)

Took Transnasional bus back to B'worth.
And guess what?
One day before, Transnasional bus had an accident; leaving 2 dead and 19 injured. Scary~~~
Can't imagine that it could've been me @@

Arggghhhh..... This is so sick !@#$%^

Malaysia petrol price increase RM0.78.
From RM1.92 to RM2.70... that's a wooping 40% increase!
Sigh... petrol price increase, food price increase, everything also increase!!!!

Maybe I should find a job in Seberang Prai/ B'worth/ B. Mertajam liao...
No point of renting out here in Penang island.
Any recommendation for IT work in Penang mainland?
Please leave me a comment. Thanks =)

Ready. Get set. *SNAP*

My 1st photo taken with my K810i.

Couldn't get my hands off my 'new toy'... hehe.
Have been testing out the camera features and games on my new phone.
The camera performance is really cool and satisfactory indeed.
There are 4 camera shoot modes altogether.

1) Normal - This is the default mode. Used for usual photo taking.

2) BestPic™ - This feature have 9 pictures to be taken automatically one after another within that 1 second when you snap the photo. It then allows you to choose the best picture within the 9 pictures. So in case you were to blink your eye during de photo shoot, you may still have a chance to get the one where your eyes were open. =)

3) Panorama - This is a really cool feature. I used to be so thrilled by how people can get a panorama photo cos the photo is just sooo wide! I have no single idea how it is done. Now, I can capture panorama photo straight from my K810i. Is this cool or what!?

Example of a panorama

4) Frame - Like most camera phones, they have funny frames you can use to snap a photo. It gives me the power to transform any normal people into bunnies!! *lol*

Sony Ericsson K810i

FINALLY!!!!
It came!!!!

Taken from my webcam (my webcam can work? ..lol)

My all new Sony Ericsson K810i that I've been longing to get for some time now.
With my new 3.2MP camera phone I can finally get clear photo shots *tears of joy*
I'm putting it to charge for 8 hours before I can start playing with my new toy.

All my hard work for the past 1 year has finally paid off.
Sigh... I do wished I have had this phone earlier.
Can't bear to think of how many snapshots of sweet memories I could've got hold on.
I don't wanna waste another chance to grab hold of my memories again
I wanna go around snapping photos till I drop... hahahahaha

LDR (Long-Distance Relationship)

It's been 1 year 2 months since I moved back to Penang from KL.
So many things have been going thru my mind about my love life since then.
From what started out as college love-birds to long-distant lovers.
The irony of having all the time in the world to spend with each other during college days to coming out as fresh graduates, trying to earn a living in the outside world and 'coping' to keep this relationship alive. The transition and transformation is somewhat overwhelming for me.
Sometimes it is easy to land myself at a point of giving up.

Questions rushing thru my mind.
Debating hard with myself.
Finding a reason worthy for this struggle.

Lonely. Agony. Pain. Misery.

Those nasty feelings of being apart.
Those were then.
After a long time, I grew numb. Numb to this feelings.
Sometimes I ponder whether these feelings do exist anymore.
Seeing my collegue so deeply in love with this girl. I truly envy him.
I would do anything to get back those fresh feelings and emotions of being in love all over again.

Looking back at myself, I wonder what are the factors that this is happening?
What/who should I blame it on?

Long-distance relationship?
Being apart for too long?
No more flame?

Myself.
